Description
Purpose-built for molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metal applications, the Silicon Carbide Alu-Shield Thermocouple combines a silicon carbide protection tube with a thermocouple assembly designed to resist attack from molten aluminum, zinc, and other reactive metals. This construction significantly extends service life compared to standard metallic protection tubes in foundry and casting environments. Available in a range of immersion lengths and diameters to match your furnace or crucible configuration. Backed by Wilcon’s AS9100 & ISO 9001 quality system. Please specify black pipe length.
