Description
For high-temperature, high-accuracy applications, Wilcon’s Precious Metal Thermocouples (Type R, S, and B) use platinum and platinum-rhodium alloys to deliver stable, precise readings up to 3100°F / 1700°C. These thermocouples are the standard choice for applications like glass manufacturing, ceramics firing, and aerospace materials testing, where standard base-metal thermocouples can’t hold accuracy or survive the environment.
Custom sheath materials and lengths available. Manufactured under Wilcon’s AS9100 & ISO 9001 accreditation with calibration certificates available on request. Please specify length.
